What is ...In The Park - After Dark?
A program designed for families with kids of all ages to be able to interact with others within the community using the arts as our primary medium to promote positive interactions and self discovery.
Who can participate?
Children and adults alike are welcome to participate and grow together.
What typically goes on during an evening of programming?
This program is designed to be flexible to accommidate everyone's busy schedule. You can either come for the entire event, pick one of the scheduled activities, or just stop by to visit.

Each week's schedule varies, but they could include:

- A fun interaction storytime teaching important positive skill
(honesty, friendship, gentleness, patience, etc.)

- A food segment teaching kids how to make yummy healthy snacks
(and we get to eat them too!)

- A special guest presenter that introduces new ideas
(local artist, law enforcement, etc.)

- An art project
(beading, painting, edible art, sculpting, etc.)

- A game time working on teamwork and co-operation
(indoor and outdoor games - depending on the weather)

- Cool Contests, Fun Prizes, and more!
How is ...In The Park - After Dark staffed?
In The Park - After Dark is staffed by the employees of Northern Expressions Arts Collective, interns from local colleges, and volunteers from the community. The entire In The Park team is thoroughly background checked and trained to provide the safest experience possible for each child. In The Park - After Dark is funded by the local business community and by donations to Northern Expressions Arts Collective by people like you! This program is provided free of charge to the public. Northern Expressions Arts Collective (NEAC) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving our communities using the arts as a primary teaching platform. NEAC promotes family friendly entertainment, artist development, and community service projects. It is our desire for every community to have a thriving arts program to feed local community involvement while we train up the next generation of leaders.
